Privacy policy

ClearMoneySchool is built on a simple principle: collect as little data as possible, never sell it, and tell you exactly what we do with what we have. This page is the plain-English version. If something is unclear, email us at [email protected].

What we collect

• Anonymous request logs: basic server logs (IP, user agent, page visited). Used to keep the site working and detect abuse. Rotated regularly.

That’s it. We do not collect email, name, phone, address, financial accounts, or any sensitive personal information through public forms on this site.

Questions submitted to The Decoder may be logged so we can see what our glossary is missing. Before logging, personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, and account or Social Security numbers are automatically removed. Logged questions are not linked to you, are deleted after 90 days, and are never used to train AI models.

What we don’t do

• We do not run advertising on this site.
• We do not embed third-party trackers, social pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.
• We do not collect email addresses through public signup forms.
• We do not link to your bank, brokerage, or financial accounts. We do not request access to that data.
• We do not use behavioral profiling for marketing.

How we use your email

ClearMoneySchool no longer collects email addresses through public signup forms. If you previously subscribed, your data has been securely retained and is not actively used. If you’d like your record deleted entirely, contact [email protected].

Service providers

To operate the site we use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers:

• Hosting: Vercel.

These providers process data under their own privacy terms and only for the purposes of running the service. We do not authorize them to use your data for any other purpose.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies that track you across other sites.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can request that we delete your information. Email [email protected] from the address on file. We respond within 30 days.

For residents of the EU, UK, California, and other regions with specific privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data. The email above is the way to exercise these rights.

Children

ClearMoneySchool is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the record.
